Jesus (Son of God) came to earth as a human to free us from our bondage to sin and death.  The Church was established on earth to continue the ministry Jesus started and He gave them the authority over all the power of the enemy (the darkness).  Spiritual warfare is something Jesus exposes as a very real and significant part of His followers lives and calling

- to be light in the darkness. 

Today, however, the Christian Church (as a whole) has neglected, denied and/or forgotten this call and authority given to it. 

Many people are suffering without hope as a result.
